Conversation with Antara Paul
Here’s our second conversation, and this is with Antara Paul !
"Antara Paul was born & raised in one of the most multi-dimensional countries of the world, India. She immigrated to Canada in 2008 and made this country as her ‘home’. She is an IT expert with BC Hydro and volunteers her time with nonprofits. A single of a son, Antara serves on the board of directors with the New Vista Society. She also supported women re-entering the work force through Dress for Success and coaching women facing gender-based violence.
Embracing the new culture and standing up for her identity, single handedly challenging the setbacks due gender inequality and the accepted norms of orthodox society, has made her 'the vibrant Antara' today. She has shared part of her experience and some will be in the next conversation. "
Her key to success was her resilience, 'no matter what' and her anchor is her little son, for whom she wants to be the 'just', role model so he naturally respects women and values lives of individuals in society.
Looking forward to the chat with Antara!
Thank you for being here and watching this. We look forward to many conversations and more from Antara next week! If you are feel your experience inspire someone to take action and move ahead in life, join the conversation
